SALIENT STILLS ADDS DIRECTOR OF SALES

BOSTON, MA, October 19, 2009 - Salient Stills, a leading video forensics and image enhancement software company, today announced it has hired Mark Payne as Director of U.S. sales. With more than seventeen years of experience equipping government agencies with information technology, Payne will manage sales into federal, state and local law enforcement, defense, intelligence and public safety agencies.

For the past ten years, Payne has specialized in digital and video forensics, giving him a unique understanding of the challenges law enforcement and intelligence agencies face in an increasingly complex technology environment. He joins Salient Stills from Intergraph Corporation, where he sold public safety software and services into the government market. Prior to that, he was the Program Manager for the GSA Catalog, overseeing contract sales and partnership development with the U.S. government. Payne holds a bachelor's degree from Jacksonville State University.
