Synopsis: The goal of this training is to provide those of you who have to deal with DVRs the knowledge needed to help make more informed choices when using screen capture to collect your video evidence. In this non-product specific discussion we will cover issues such as; how do camera, screen refresh and captured movie frame rates interact, what happens to time lapse video, how are player size and capture file frame size related, what are "Direct X" players, do display settings matter, what about aspect ratio, etc. Presented as a end to end tour of the screen capture process the aim is to have a discussion at a technical level appropriate for anybody who has the need to "screen capture" video and has questions about how the process works.
