Tech Note Blackmagic Drivers

We support two different Blackmagic cards, the Intensity Pro and Decklink. You can download the latest drivers with the following links:

Intensity Pro Capture Settings

Once the drivers are installed, the proper video input must be set in the Intensity control panel. Go to Start Menu > Control Panels > Intensity, and set the input to "S-Video & and Analog RCA Audio"

Decklink Capture Settings

Salient Stills has discovered an issue related to capturing video using the most recent versions of the Decklink video drivers (versions 5.8 and later).

To ensure the Decklink card is properly configured for video capture, users should open the Format selection dialog in the Capture panel and select: 1. UYVY (720x486) Note: PAL users in Europe and the UK should select: 2. UYVY (720x576).
