As a detective in Suffolk County, New York, Peter Aragone was already using another system to get his video forensics work done. Problem was, it wasn't really getting the job done in the way he needed it to. The systems he was working with took a lot of time to process, were tough to train people on, and didn't have the demultiplexing capability he knew must be out there.

So, about two years ago, he and his guys started researching other systems. Once he tried VideoFOCUS he knew he had the tool he wanted. “If I had to say anything about VideoFOCUS, it's that it's a pretty solid tool. It does what I need it to do, when I need to do it. De-plexing is an issue with other systems, VideoFOCUS has got it down. We use it on a ton of stuff. Now that we have two systems — we've got a mobile set up, too — there's not a day that goes by that we don't use it.”
